![]() The two have the same damage profile, rate of fire, centerspeed, and reload cancel speeds. Both the Spectre and MPL share many attributes. The Spectre is insanely similar to the MPL. The Spectre is extremely well built to use the attachment. This negates Rapid Fire's largest weaknesses: accuracy reduction and the magazine running dry too quickly. The Spectre lends itself well to Rapid Fire usage because it has a large magazine by default, and its recoil is low. The Spectre's rate of fire increases to 1250 RPM, a monstrous rate. The Spectre is one of the best weapons to use Rapid Fire on. Although this attachment has no downsides, it's often seen as unnecessary, seeing how the Spectre is already a very accurate SMG. The Grip increases the Spectre's centerspeed from 1700 to 1800, making the Spectre even more accurate. The reduction in centerspeed is enormous and will make the Spectre far less accurate overall. The ACOG Scope is a terrible attachment choice on the Spectre, as it heavily slows down the aim down sight time and lowers the Spectre's centerspeed to 1300. Extended Mags is an extremely good attachment choice on the Spectre that allows the user to not have to use Sleight of Hand. This is among the largest magazine capacities among SMGs that fire at 937 RPM, with only the Uzi with Extended Mags being able to best it. It has a high rate of fire, low recoil, and a larger magazine, all attributes that lend the Spectre well to suppressed fire.Įxtended Mags increases the Spectre's magazine capacity to 45 rounds. The Spectre is one of the best SMGs to use the Suppressor on. The Spectre is a solid SMG overall, and users can take the liberty to use one of these sights. The Red Dot Sight and Reflex Sight are both available, and it's not unreasonable to use one of these attachments to clean up the Spectre's sight picture. The Spectre has the standard assortment of SMG attachments available. This is a key bonus for the Spectre, as it gives the user a larger starting ammo loadout compared to some of the other SMGs, with 120 rounds by default upon spawning in. These reload times are unremarkable, but aren't terrible. The Spectre can do a Reload Cancel at the 1.75 second mark. The Spectre also has an average reload speed, taking 2.3 seconds to perform a partial reload, or 3 seconds to perform an empty reload. ![]() The Spectre has average raise and drop speeds for an SMG. The Spectre has a tight hip-fire spread, aims down the sight in 200 milliseconds, allows users to move at 100% of the base speed, and strafe at 80% of the base speed. The Spectre's handling traits are standard fare for an SMG. This makes the Spectre tied with the MAC-11 with regards to accuracy, and it is one of the more accurate SMGs in the tier as such. The centerspeed of the Spectre is very high, at 1700. However, the recoil per shot of the Spectre is very low, as the weapon kicks up and to the right. The iron sights are very unpopular, as the back post is quite obstructive. The Spectre is a mixed bag in terms of accuracy. This rate of fire is excellent and helps offset the Spectre's poor damage per bullet. The Spectre's rate of fire is high, at 937 RPM. The Spectre also has poor penetration power, making the Spectre ineffective at killing enemies through walls. Headshots usually reduce the amount of shots needed to kill by one in Core game modes. The Spectre is a one shot kill to the body in Hardcore game types out to twenty meters. Damage decreases linearly until 25 meters, where the Spectre will be dealing its minimum damage of twenty damage per bullet, taking five body shots to kill. At any range short of twenty meters, the Spectre will deal thirty damage per bullet, taking four body shots to kill. The Spectre is a low damage per bullet SMG. The Spectre is unlocked at level 41 and is the second-to-last submachine gun to be unlocked. A Spectre can be found used in the hands of Shabs during the end of "Numbers". A picture of the Spectre can also be briefly seen during the opening cutscene, along with a picture of the Kiparis. The Spectre can be found in one of the weapons caches during " Numbers".
